You see them speeding and sprinting across water ways around Walt Disney World, but no where can you have more fun in these two-seater speed boats (commonly referred to as “water mice”) than when you take off to explore Bay Lake from Teton Rentals at the Wilderness Lodge.
“Water Mice” are actually personal watercraft called Raycers and they’re fun for kids of all ages to enjoy. However to drive a child must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall and all drivers 12 to 17 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.
One reason it’s can be extraordinary to take your boat out from Teton Boat and Bike is because it puts you right in the center of some special views. Only on a Raycer can you get close enough to Discovery Island and River Country that you would even notice that they used to be exceptional Disney attractions. Today, they sit abandoned and overgrown, out of the view of today’s resort guest. Even within a half an hours time you can experience some fabulous Disney views on the most magical waters of all.
